Round 1 - Application form
June 10 - 20
Submit your application online, with details about your educational background and teaching interests
Round 2 - Online assessment
June 24 - 26
Subject matter experts will evaluate your teaching and presentation skills on a virtual call
Round 3 - Online 1-1 Interview
June 30 - July 03
Assessment of your subject fundamentals, as well as teaching and soft skills
Selected candidates report to Bengaluru
July 15
Upon final selection, candidates relocate to Bengaluru

Training and development

During the 12-week training program, selected individuals will be coached to become Top Educators. The training will be conducted in Bengaluru, during which complimentary accommodation for 15 days will be provided by Unacademy.

Who can apply for The Unacademy Stars Program?

Ambitious individuals passionate about teaching, including recent college graduates, Educators, and professionals.

What is the duration of the program?

The program lasts for 12 weeks.

What happens after I get selected?

Upon final selection, you will have to relocate/shift to Bengaluru for 1 year. During this one year, the first 3 months (12-weeks) will be the training period. Accomodation for first 15 days will be provided by Unacademy. Post that, you may find your own accommodation, you will have to come to office for 5 days a week.

Do I need to have a degree from a special college or university?

This program welcomes every individual who has the enthusiasm and skills to learn. This training program is created to facilitate and train those individuals to develop the necessary skills to become an Educator and teach. 

Do I need prior experience in teaching?

No prior teaching experience is required, although prior experience is a plus.

How do I get accepted?

Through a three-stage selection process assessing temperament, ambition, and vision alignment with Unacademy.

Is online teaching experience required?

No, the program starts from the basics to ensure a smooth transition.

What are the opportunities after the program?

Depending on their specialisation, graduates can become Educators on the Unacademy platform. 

What subjects can I teach?

You can teach any subject for exams like JEE, NEET UG, UPSC CSE, GATE, CAT, NET, CA, Judiciary Exams, CLAT, Class 6-8 and Foundation (Class 9-12).
